Hey there,
First of all, if you attended Notacon, on behalf of all of the Notacon
staff, we want to thank you for attending and participating. We had almost
250 people at the event this year and so far the reviews are great! We will
continue to try to put on a great show for everyone in 2007 and are working
already on securing a venue and date for the Spring.
I am writing, though, to announce, that we will be closing the
talk at notacon.org list. If you are on this list, be aware that it will be
closed on or around Friday, the 28th of April, 2006. Overall, the list has
been nothing more than a spam magnet for me (your humble Notacon and list
admin). We have, though, seen explosive growth in other areas of
communication, notably our forums (forums.notacon.org), Livejournal
community (username "notacon"), irc channel (#notacon on irc.case.edu) as
well as our announcements RSS feed (available from our website).
Please check out these other resources to keep in contact not only with us,
the organizers, but also your fellow attendees.
If you simply want to be reminded of our general announcements via email, we
strongly encourage you all to subscribe to our low-traffic announcement
list. Use the link below to subscribe yourself:

Thanks again and let us know your suggestions for future events!
