Ever been to a demoparty?  No?

Well, if you attend Notacon in 2007, you'll get your chance.

This year Notacon will combine forces with a new demo party in North America 
called Blockparty.  What is a demo party, you ask?  To quote 
http://www.demoparty.us/ :

"If you're new to the idea of a demoparty, the concept is simple: set up a 
stage, invite programmers, artists and musicians from around the world to 
enter competitions, watch in amazement what comes out, and then hand out 
prizes to the best of the bunch."

Both events under one roof will definitely kick more art, music and 
creativity in the event and further our goal of bridging the gap between art 
and technology, as well as fostering a sense of community among all 
open-minded technology buffs.

All Notacon attendees can pariticpate in Blockparty events and vise-versa.
